Marianne Williamson’s best moments from Democratic debates

Marianne Williamson’s best moments from Democratic debates

Flint is just the tip
of the iceberg. We have an administration
that has gutted the Clean Water Act. We have communities,
particularly communities of colour and disadvantaged communities,
all over this country who are suffering from
environmental injustice. If you think that any of this
wonkiness is going to deal with this dark, psychic force of
the collectivised hatred that this president is bringing
up in this country, then I’m afraid the Democrats
are going to see some very dark days. We need to say it like
it is. It’s bigger than Flint. It’s all over this country.
It’s particularly people of colour. It’s particularly people
who do not have the money to fight back. And if the Democrats don’t
start saying it, then why would those people feel like they’re
there for us. And if those people don’t
feel like they will vote for us, then Donald Trump will win. Many of your opponents support
a commission to study the issues of reparations for slavery,
but you are calling for up to $500 billion in
financial assistance. What makes you qualified to
determine how much is owed in reparations? Well, first of all, it’s not
$500 billion in financial assistance, it’s $500 billion, $200-500 billion
payment of a debt that is owed. That is what reparations is. I’ll tell you what makes me qualified. If you did the math of the
40 acres and a mule, given that there were 4-5 million
slaves at the end of the civil war, if they were all promised
40 acres and a mule for every family of four,
if you did the math today, it would be trillions of dollars
and I believe that anything less than $100 billion is an insult
and I believe that $200-500 billion is politically feasible today
because so many Americans realise that there is an injustice
that continues to form a toxicity underneath the surface; an emotional
turbulence that only reparations will deal with.

  1. WTF are they talking about? I can't believe this is not a Saturday Night Live skit……are they serious? What a bunch of dumb asses….

  3. New Age Goddess versus the Dark Psychic Force of the Collectivized Hatred versus the Rats of Baltimore. I'll pay for that pay-per-view.

  4. Democratic debates: Sanders and Warren team up against moderate attacks – as it happened ►

  5. Obama created Trump. And now it looks like Trump created Marianne.I left the Dems because because unhinged bad leadership and the covering up of lots of violence committed against conservatives. I used to listen to Marianne back in the 80s and have respect and a fondness for her. I like her.

  6. Marianne has come out as the clear winner of the second round of debates. While the other hopefuls squabble with each other and try to score points, she actually has something intelligent to say.

  7. Pause the video, doesn't matter what frame. This lady is a fkn spycho🤣. She fried her brains with box wine and gin!

  8. I'm Irish heritage and my ancestors came to America as indentured servants (forced out of Ireland by English overlords) and were treated abominably – and without compensation. We don't even get recognized for our plight because we don't have a different skin colour – but we were equally as exploited and ill-treated. Can I have some of this 500 Billion?

  9. The Guardian: Beto O'Rourke wants to remind you that he really loves punk and his wife. And with less than 4% in the polls America wants to remind Beto we don't love you or your wife 😲

  10. Williamson is the first white American to speak the truth on repetitions with this type of passion . To bad this didn’t go against Americans credit scores because it would have been a paid debt.

  11. That is THE BEST answer I have EVER heard any presidential candidate speak on reparations – She nailed it.

  12. 60% of African Americans are on public assistance, how about we subtract that from the $500 billion. What a joke reperations is not a serious discussion. Wish I could get money for something I never experienced

  13. Marianne Williamson is my spirit animal. Whether or not she gets the nomination, she is bringing class, awareness, kindness, and consciousness to the Democratic debates and I love watching her.

  14. Thank you much, Ms Williamson (~0:55. You have just given the biggest boost to the argument that women should have never been allowed out of the kitchen.

  15. She's right, we should be able to look at the night sky, single out a single star, look deeply at it for a few moments then you find yourself on the most habital planet nearby, in a cocoon of air and tranquility and a bathroom. But for reals, I love her

  16. I'm not worried about the dark psychic forces because i'm actually a trained jedi knight. We use the force daily…

  17. interesting to come from a Course in Miracles and attack Trump on Darkness. Projection? Playing to an easy audience, there is not a hint of self rightousness at all in her presentation. Bribing the African community with reparation payments does exactly end where? Please let pay reparations to the following as well: All the people ever wronged by the US, the Lybians, the Afghans, the Iraqis, the Vietnames (let's make it 100 Trillion there) and so on. I'm going with Tulsi. Has more credibility than all the others combined.

  18. People can say what they want about her (and after the New Zealand moment from the 1st debate I honestly thought of her as a bit of a nut) but 0:34 to 0:42 is an extremely powerful display of what leaders sound like.

It is obvious that she is a strong motivational speaker and, as she refines her viewpoints, shouldn't be underestimated. Her delivery was so strong this time and she may actually do decently.

  19. Tulsi Gabbard, Marianne Williamson, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are the real winners of these debates – and I dare add Andrew Yang and Pete Buttigieg, but no where near as well.

  20. I agree. There is no need for another long term commission. Its very clear. Pay 💰 the damn reperationa now. The debt has been due for 200 years plus interest.

  21. Why am I so obsessed with her? She came straight out of a Sailor Moon episode.
We need to harness love for political purposes! Together we can defeat the dark psychic forces!

  22. Of course we also owe the natives hundreds of trillions of dollars for genocide but that's not as politically correct to talk about as slavery so it doesn't get addressed. I could actually vote for Williamson unlike all these other clowns sans Gabbard but this idea isn't feasible nor is it justice. The slaves and native populations are long gone. Reparations based on skin color is like royalty based on bloodlines. It's insidious. Nobody should be entitled to anything due to the color of their skin or being born with magic blood. Treating all races equally is the only repair.

  23. Whoah, Go Marianne!!! Have loved this woman and what she has to say for 20 years..Overjoyed that she has thrown her hat into the ring in this fight against darkness💗

  24. Don Lemon cut her off just to show faux domination. He's as big a jerk with her as he is with Republicans. Guess she's not he choice to be the Dem nominee. Shows how very limited he is in his thinking.

  25. As a black person, I never thought about reparations, but when she put it so eloquently, I am giving it a second thought, it makes sense.

  26. Democrats & Republicans. TWO HORNS OF THE SAME DEVIL. I'm a person of color and I already know she doesn't give af about us. She just wants our votes then ignore us once in office. Just like every president that ever was. Including Obama.
