  1. Lovely Mike Myeres – I love this man. Is he single? I'd marry him in a microsecond. What talent, grace, humor, and brains, and of course, HEART! He was right – the film was exceptionally good. I've watched it 8 times. Great in every way – very well-directed, satisfying structure. Mike, if you are actually single, I'm serious, please look me up; we're compatible! Ellen Orchid in NYC. Friend me on Facebook. I'm an awesome, funny, sexy gal.

  2. Would anyone believe me that i met Queen and the Tall guitarist while peeing in a toilet in Switzerland? It was in 1989 in a chinese restaurant in Montreux. I was pissing and suddenly two guys walk in. One was short about 5foot 4 inch the other was like 7 foot tall. I glanced at the other guy beside my urinal and there he is Freddy Mercury and the Tall guitarist. I was agape with my mouth and eyes wide and they look at me with amusement LOL.

  3. Damnit man… You've ruined the line…

The reason he always carried an umbrella was because he could never remember the passwords. So he always carried an umbrella because only an Englishman would carry a bloody umbrella into war.

  4. Mike Myers is awesome!! Wayne’s world end Austin Powers!! Haha! Isn’t it ironic that after he insisted that Bohemian Rhapsody be the jam song in the car in “ Wayne’s World” or he would not be in the movie. Of course the song was allowed and Mike Myers was in “Wayne’s world”…. ironically, Count forward 17 or 18 years: i’m 1991 until 2017-2018, he appears in the actual movie “ bohemian Rhapsody”. The part that he did have in the movie was so funny!!

  5. Is it just me or does Mike Meyers resemble even talks like Jimmy Fallon in this clip? Vice-versa versa if you prefer.

  6. Major Digby Tatham-Warter, who actually died of old age, always wore his the Para beret under his helmet. He was a well known character and safari guide in Kenya. As a child I saw him at our house a few times.
The umbrella was because he always forgot the password, reasoning that only a Brit would be mad enough to carry an umbrella into battle. He and his men also charged tanks with bayonets, during which he wore a bowler-hat. He down played a lot of stories about him. Larger than life but humble.

  7. Wayne’s World was the first time I heard Bohemian Rhapsody and I loved it. I saw Wayne’s World right when it came out in 1992 and I was 12 years old.

  8. How can you not know it’s Mike Myers? If you’ve watched Austin powers a ton of times you can hear it’s him, if you can’t tell just by looking at him.

  9. at first I didn't know it was Mike Myers in the movie… until he said that line, Bohemian Rhapsody will never be a song kids can turn up in their car and rock their heads to, i realized it was him and just MADE the scene.. especially for us 90's kids

  10. I hope hes ok.. do t want yo say what I think hes on … hope my eyes are playing tricks

  11. Actually, Freddie Mercury in is last days was in the bed and saw the Bohemian Rhapsody scene, and he loved that, but he passed away one year before "Wayne's World" movie.

  12. Mike wrote a great book about Canada and his life called, um, it's been a while but I think called Canada. Well worth reading.

  13. Imagine if Fallon was the interviewer
    Mike Meyers: So…..
    Fallon: hahhahahah…dude that's so funny…
Fallon: dudeeeeeeeeeeeee……hahahaha..we love you in that…..hahahaha….playing bruce wayne

  14. Come on Mike, when you're doing a bit at least get the facts straight. He wasn't carrying the umbrella to "remind himself that he's English" he was carrying one to show OTHERS that he was English so they don't shoot him. The actual scene was-

    Lt. Col. John Frost:
You know, Harry; I always wanted to ask you, but didn't because I knew you so very much wanted me to and I didn't want to give you the satisfaction; but why do you always carry that umbrella?
    Major Harry Carlyle:
Bad memory. Never could remember the password. Knew no Jerry would carry one. Had to prove I was an Englishman, you see.

Which is a true story by the way, Major Allison Digby Tatham-Warter, (Yes, his first name was Allison, although he usually went by Digby) the real guy that Carlyle is based on really did that. there are some composite and inspired characters in the movie, as it focuses on the commanders. The line is somewhere around Colonel, everything above it- true to life, below it- some liberties were took. For example Eliott Gould playing the 101st Colonel Stout which in reality was Lt. Col Robert F. Sink of the 506th. The same Sink and the same 506th as in Band of Brothers, they were the ones taking Son bridge. Or James Caan and the kid Captain- It really hapened too, the checking a presumed dead officer at gunpoint, but not quite like that. Anyway, back to Mjr. Tatham-Warter. Per Wikipedia- He took an umbrella with his kit as a means of identification because he had trouble remembering passwords and felt that anyone who saw him with it would think that "only a bloody fool of an Englishman" would carry an umbrella into battle. He also didn't die in Arnhem, but in 1993.

  15. Tbh as soon mike myers plays ray foster you go who the hell is that actor. i first watched the movie and didnt even know who the hell it was. But when i found out it was mike myers i was gobsmacked i couldnt believ it was him. two totally different people mike myers then when he plays ray foster in bo rhap movie

  16. I believe that officer from the film was based on Digby Tatham-Warter who was a Para officer at Arnhem, however Digby survived and said that the reason he carried the umbrella in his kit was to make him more identifiable to his men. He died in 1993. Utrinque Paratus.

  17. We were almost robbed of one of the most iconic moments in history, because time and time again the bastards with the money, think they know art from their asshole. which they seem to have their head in, all the time.

  18. The headline here should be the incredibly touching stories about his experience with George Harrison. Mike would agree.

  19. When you are important to one of the Beatles you have made it 🙂 I love Mike he is so humble and funny …yeah babay!!

  20. Mike Myers used to be so naturally funny. Now he's trying too hard, and failing for some reason. I'm not happy about it. Just mentioning a fact.

  22. He was really good in the movie. I loved how he played that record producer and he was practically a villain who stifled creativity. You really wanted to hate the guy.

  23. Mike Myers. Seems like a completely different person. Of course, he's older now. 55years. Feels like a totally totally different man. Anyone else feel like it?

  24. You have no right to wear the beret. You should be ashamed! Too many Paras died for you to allow you to laugh at something you have no understanding of. Grow up, celebrity. That is all you are.
