Tornado sends cars flying in Ohio

The moment a tornado churns through a small
town in America. Amateur video captured the touch down as the
tornado swept across the Ohio town of Beavercreek on Tuesday afternoon. Although it only touched land briefly it flipped
vehicles in a shopping centre car park onto their roofs and brought down several trees
and power lines. Debris can be seen being lifted in its path. According to police two people in the car
park suffered minor injuries. The twister was one of several severe weather
events to hit the United States this week. Further south, torrential rain has killed at least
17 people in Texas and Oklahoma, including four in Houston where floods turned streets
into rivers and destroyed hundreds of homes.
